This is my second attempt an IF scheme ( previous thread )
, so I was just looking for some feedback on my second attempt.
I know that the picture quality isn't great but any feedback is welcome.

They look really dirty. Are they supposed to?
That purple sword is aces.

If the models are darker, try putting a black background behind the figure instead of white when you take the picture. It will really help to show the details.

If that is an attempt at dirt weathering then it's a credit to you - it looks very effective and realistic as an aged look. The purple sword is excellent in terms of graduation between colours and I must say even though it's an interesting choice of colour (simply because it departs from the 'norm' of the blue or red that most painters use) you've pulled it off really well.
If I had to pick at a few faults then there would be only two:
A) For my tastes the weathering is a bit OTT, it's effective, but I'm finding it too hard to find any defining features of the armour, similarly, the gold and the yellow are not distinct enough - melding into one. If you were to replicate your yellow from Scheme 2 on your first thread you' de be on to a winner.
B) The Champions helmet.... Again, for my tastes it lets the rest of the model down as it looks a bit slap-dash. IMHO, if you were to remedy that, the model would go from good to great.
So, aside from those two points it's looking like a pretty good scheme. I'll echo the others though and say that I would provide some better C+C if I could see the pictures a bit better.

Thanks for all the feedback and the photography tips.
@Warpig1815 and @fishy bob. Yeah I was going for the heavily weathered look the thinking being that these guys are half way through the siege of Terra.
I'll try getting some better pick up in the next few days.

Part of me wants to say they look great, then my iron warriors side comes through, and i want to destroy them. lol.
Nah seriously though, if you're going for heavily weathered then you've achieved exactly what you wanted.
nice job dude

New photos are much better. Nice looking beat down IF. Both have that look of double checking the gear during a moments lull in the fighting.

As a fellow pre-heresy IF player, I really like the weathered and beaten tone you have on these models. The only criticism I would have is the OSL on the Champion's eyes seems to be painted above the rim of the eye, where the light would not normally glow. Other than that, these are great models, good work!
