So what I want to attempt to do is thus:

I want to use the head from this guy, how hard to you think it would be to carve that sucker off?

Opinions is it worth the attempt to you veteran converters?

I have no idea what I'm doing...

Fairly hard I think fine cast can be hard to work with slash easy to fumble. Almost easier to shave off the leaves and trim and add a couple of spikes and just use the WE as your base IMO.

I think its going to be hard to save all of the detail... it is a prettyaawesome head for your conversion though... hopefully afinecast vet shows up and corrects my fears.

I agree with grimdork. I'd just convert the Wood Elf model. The great weapon would make a cool husk blade or something.

you could get it off but you'd destroy the body doing it and if you get it off will the hair fall in the right place on the new body?

there's not a lot of face there so I think I would get any old bald elf head and green stuff the hair how I wanted it. it'd be a lot easier than trying to get that hair to fit the new body
