Just noticed this in this thread:
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/541465.page
The OP uses the unfiltered version of Fethin (no g in the unfiltered version), and the swear filter doesn't catch it. I know that for reasons of accidental filtration many of the words may not have shortened versions taken into account, but for the most part when someone write f followed by uckin(g) they generally me one and only word .

Usual answer for these sorts of issues - the filter is ultimately just intended as a bit of a time saver for the mods, by catching the more common stuff. It's not intended to catch every possible curse word... It's ultimately the responsibility of posters themselves to make sure that they aren't posting inappropriate content, as warnings may be issued if they do.

The way to justify adding a swear word to the filter is to search the dakka search engine for that word. If it turns up more than 100 times it is worth adding, otherwise it is rare enough to not need the extra processing time.

fair enough, I was mostly just suggesting it because I saw it and thought, "hey should it have caught that?" no worries! Edit: It does occur 74 times currently in case the great Lego did not know . Keep on keepin' on!

That's actually a really handy rule of thumb to know, I personally have PM'd combinations of swear words that as it turned out barely ever happen by that criteria.
