Often i get a lot of time to sit there and think since part of my duties are escorting people into the compound that do not have clearance. I play orks and tau, so i am familiar enough with them to theorize n such from memory and i came up with this unlikely event that made me laugh hysterically.

Orks run a battlewagon/trukk list (very dumb idea against tau mind you) and manage to have at least 1 trukk survive after delivering the payload. This trukk has a reinforced Ram, and per ork codex allows it to tankshock or ram despite not being a tank and grants it +2 armor for Death or Glory results (maximum of 14). There is a Riptide within range.

The original thought was force a leadership and hope it runs away 3D6 and maybe off the board. But then i remembered MC ruling Smash (least far as i know) has no ruling for how many attacks you have, so the single hit that automatically hits is now S10 AP2 instead of S6. Riptide does not want to risk a failed leadership since he is out of range of the Ethereal for LD10, so he Death or Glories the trukk. Now, he needs a 3+ to pen, followed by a 3 to immobilize or 4+ to explode. If he fails either of these dice rolls, the trukk runs over a RIPTIDE and kills it.

I havent gone through the rules to see if theres any holes in this but the mental image alone was enough to post it. I would die laughing if i actually pulled this off rofl

That is about right. I had a damaged Razorback (Had its weapon destroyed) kill a Mawloc this way. It was quite funny seeing this HUGE model run over by a Razorback.

MCs should never, ever, EVER death or glory unless that single moment will literally cause the game to end. The only example I can think of is if a HS vehicle Tank shocks onto an objective in Big Guns never tire.

But, yes it'd be hilarious!

I guess the tiny Riptide ankles would be to blame. They snapped and the riptide just fell over on its face lol best way to explain it.

More than twice as big, and pasted by a 40pt model lol (45 if RPJ was involved)

I had a very similar event happen but with an empty Rhino running my wraithlord over. It was pretty hilarious considering this was one of the old 3e rhinos so it barely clears the knees.
