I'm playing Zone Mortalis soon with my IG, and it looks to be challenging, as I cannot bring any vehicles and the combat is often focused on CC.

Does anyone have any tips?

Ogryn and a Lord Commissar or Yarrick will work wonders.

maybe bring flamers for overwatch/hallway sweeping?

or maybe some heavy weapons to help "shut down" a hallway?

Straken may help if you're concerned about close combat.

Add commissars to your infantry if you're going to blob up your squads. Anything to help morale.

Properly placed plasma or melta vets can really thin out a power armor squad.

Take yarrick and spam so many guardsmen that they never kill them all. though if your opponent takes the black mace your kinda screwed reguardless.

I would suggest straken.
