Now that we are pretty sure the new Ork codex is coming soon.... What models are you waiting to buy because you think the new ones will be cooler/cheaper/better box config or just new? I ask because dont feel like spending money now to regret it in a few months...ex. like I would like buggies but hate the current models, hope they make new cooler ones!

Cheers

For me im holding off on Meganobz, I expect them to come bundled AT LEAST in groups of three. Right now the pricing be $30 each before tax is hillarious. It's the same price as the highest priced special characters for any army... So prob i'll grab them and the mad dok together.

Im also holding off on buying the forgeworld biker Nobz because im assuming they will release some of those and a biker boss.

*bursts though room with axe* HEEEAAARRRS JHONNY!!!

Im also looking forward to seeing a mega dredd construct (preferably one which wields a massive two-handed chainsaw )..

I would say just buy what you want but make sure you get a HQ and troops to play a legal game most likely anything will get a serious nerf is that Lootas will be nerfed but that's around about it imo..

Heres hoping that Killa Kanz and Deff Dredds make a good comeback ...

I'm hoping they re-work the loota-burna box.....having that one model that has to be a Mek makes me mad (expensive too), lol. So I think I will wait on Mega-Nobz for sure, and hopefully a better artillery choice as well, like a box with 3 for 50$ instead of 1 for 30$.

Cheers

They wont do that. They aren't going to re make modern plastics. buggies maybe? mega nobs? something new and big? a couple of HQs? that's in line with what they've been doing recently. Definately wouldnt expect anything to be cheap.

I am looking forward to pain boy bikes and gutsmek bike. I just like the idea of a all warbiker list.

I wouldn't be surprised in meganobz are done like Crisis Suits, 3 plastic models to a box for about £40.

That's why I expect MANZ will get the plastic treatment. Eldar and Tau got an exisiting metal/resin unit changed to plastic (Broadside, Wraithguard). But if it's something that's already in plastic, I wouldn't expect any change.

Driven away from WH40K by rules bloat and the expense of keeping up, now interested in smaller model count games and anything with nifty mechanics.

Ah yes, now that the last two codex releases had giant MCs it only makes sense for the Orks to get one.

UltraNobz
Squiggoths could work as well.
Or even a bigger deff dread. Just a little shorter than the Stompa maybe.

Things I hope to see with the new codex release:

Squiggoths (with the rise of MCs, I could see them fitting well).
Mega-Dread (probably wont' be as powerful as the IA8 model but could see it being possible)

Revised Trakk, Buggy, and Skorchas - these are great models in terms of fluff but they are about as useful as a bike but more points. There needs to be a reason to take them.
Return to the old, Black Reach Deff Kopta models.

And since supplement codices seems to be a trend now, I can see them re-introducing Snakebite orks and the Cyboars. (actually I doubt we'll ever see them again).

Meganobs.
They are complete win in today's meta, but they are completely overpriced.

I expect 4 things to happen.

Squig MC, 80 USD
Boyz packs now cost 45 USD
Loota/Burnas now cost 55 USD
Battlewagons now cost 80 USD

Whether or not the rules actually justify the cost, it'll still upgrade to dumb levels. Glad i alreayd have 5 battlewagons which is the most you could ever field non-apoc just because of point limitation lol.
Actually aside from new models all together, i dont need to buy any orks lol. Im a little shy of boyz since i cant field a true green tide, but i have more than i normally field anyway.

EDIT: Make that 5 things
Slugga Choppa is now the norm, and we all have Shoota boyz. Oh, hey, now boyz cost more! Either we bust our shootas, or pay outta da pooket fer more boyz!

Really hoping for some plastic bikers to be released, maybe a biker boss, or biker nobz. An MC would fit all of the past 6th ed. releases as well. As stated here, a giant Squiggoth would be great, and hilarious.
