Although I think it is just a oversight, the rule for Conceal doesn't seem to effect the whole squad anymore.

Eldar Codex Page 70

The Warlock seizes command of the shadows, concealing his squad from the enemy's gaze or revealing the enemy.

Conceal is a blessing that targets the psyker. Whilst the power is in effect, the psyker has the Shrouded special rule.

The first part of the entry is just for flavor, proven by the fact that it is italisized and in the back of the book it is completely omitted(foldout p105?) Nowhere in the actual power description does it state that it effects the unit the psyker belongs to. If this is true all Conceal would really allow you to do with your Warlock is put him at the front of the squad to tank incoming shots.

Any thoughts? I did a search and didn't see this come up before. Have all the Eldar players just overlocked the reading for Conceal because it has always been the other way?

Many USR work on the whole unit if at least one model has it.

Thank you! That makes sense.

Does that mean if the Warlock goes down during a round of shooting, the rest of the unit would lose the Shrouding for the rest of your opponents shooting phase?

Yes they'd loose it, as you no longer have one model with the rule.

I have not been amused by warlocks dying to Perils of the Warp and even with a double 1 still not having use of the power

As an Eldar player, it stinks. As a Tyranid player it is funny.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
