Hi Everyone,

So recently I have "finalized" my list and it includes a warboss on a bike and 5 nob bikerz.

I saw the forgeworld models and they look really really awesome, but for me (in Canada especially) they are just really expensive. My original plan was to buy 2 boxes of warbikers (6 models total) from my local GW and just add on some PKs, cut one model out for my AoBR warbos, etc.

My question is, will it be ok if I just use the models on the warbikes and add PKs, maybe change the had, etc. or are they too small to represent nob bikerz?

Thanks!
Jon

The easiest way to convert Nob Bikers is 2 Boxes of Warbikers to 1 box of Nobs.

Luckily, all but one of the Nob torso/legs fits over the warbike chassis (one's legs are too close together). Plus there is one Nob body in the Warbike box. So those three boxes give you 6 Nob Bikers.

I once played orks and felt that the bodys that came with the kit where a little tiny. They are the same size as boyz, i just ran them as nobs an no one ever said anythin. How man PK's are you running per unit?

Hi pretre,

Thanks for your response. That's what I am asking, is if the bodies on the warbikes can be left as-is, or if I HAVE TO replace them...
Could I use bodies/parts from the AoBR nobz?

You can, but they are a bit small. If you give them AOBR nob parts it will help bulk them out a bit, but they are still a bit weedy. Given enough extra bits and gubbins, they could be nobs though. It is just important to differentiate them from the other warbikers, which arm swaps don't really do.

You can do anything you want to do, they're your models.

If you use the bodies from the biker box, they will not stand out as nobs, even with power klaws. They will be noticeably weedy.

I wouldn't advise just slapping nobs from the box on the bikes either though. The legs from the warbiker box are good, just cut the torsos off a nob box and glue them on those legs. A little conversion work is the best part of playing orks.

I like that we used the same word.

Mine worked out pretty well.

hmm... so the warbikers with AoBR nob torsos and arms should work...? I think it should
and yes, I have a feeling these bikez will be a lot of work, but awesome. I just dont want to waste too much $$$...

I would pick up some AoBR Koptas and convert them into bikes, it's pretty easy and cheap to do.

One other thing to remember is that almost all ork parts are interchangeable. It's the most customizable army in the game.

As such, if you spring for one of the FW kits, you can actually divide the parts from that kit up among several other bikes and nobs, and get several workable kustom choppas out of it. That's what I did when working on my bikers.
