Mantic has given me permission to add Kings of War to EasyArmy.com to allow you to build your lists easier. Since the game stats are very different than the Flames of War game that the main site uses, I've created it under http://kow.easyarmy.com . It currently only has tabs for Elves, Dwarfs, Kingdoms of Men, and Abyssal Dwarfs, and it doesn't yet have the PDF output function enabled - in addition to needing a few color enhancements

While I'm finishing it up, could some of you take a look and send your feedback to gregg@EasyArmy.com ? It currently does not require a log-in, but if you have an account it will save your lists for later editing/printing. I'll be adding the rest of the armies soon based on user feedback.

Thanks,
Gregg

First, thanks for doing this. I love EasyArmy.Com for FoW and have bought several army list accesses from your site.

I will send email too but here are some quick points on your KOW application:

The logic currently doesn't allow me to add a warmachine AND a hero/monster per solid unit. Each solid unit opens you access to both a warmachine for that list AND a hero/monster.

The logic currently doesn't allow you to build a list with good and evil. While that's a standard convention, the rules say it can be done if everyone agrees. Probably need an option to override alignments.

I'm able to add a Palace Guard Regiment and a Bolt Thrower and an Elf Lord on Dragon without an issue. It's possible something was flagged incorrectly in the database. Can you email me the units you were trying to add?

For the Good and Evil, I'll put that on the to-do list, but would want to make a clear note on the printout that is was not a standard (ie: tournament legal) list.

Thanks,
Gregg

Studies show that user error (I screwed up and clicked a troop versus regiment; caught it when I tried to replicate the problem) causes more issues than programming

Sorry about that.

Added the rest of the army lists from the main rulebook. Will add the Ogres from the only PDF shortly. Also updated the program a little to include better PDF output (great for saving on your phone/iPad). You can create/print/save lists without logging in, but you need to create an account if you want to save the lists. Please let me know if you find any errors.

Updated site. Only saves lists when you want it to (instead of ALL). Changed some of the programming to prevent a lot of screen refreshes. Options now appear in pop-up instead of over-laying left window. A few other changes.

Please let me know if you find any errors or have suggestions. gregg@easyarmy.com

Thanks,

Love the army builder! That was really easy, it only took me 2 minutes to figure out how to use it and finish my list.

All new Artefacts from The Basilean Legacy have now been added. (Please let me know if you see any typos)

The rest of the Heroes from Kings and Legends have been added.

Also modified the colors to (hopefully) make the sections a little more distinguishable.

Possibly (probably?) an idiot question, but I've never used your site before - what is the login stuff for? Does the site allow users to save army lists if they're registered? Any fees required, etc?

Registering is free.
And it allows you to save lists.
Not sure if there is a cap on number, tho.

Thanks for doing this.
Because I didn't know that Basilean Legacy contained the extra magic artefacts (until your builder update), I had held off buying it.

Your builder just made Mantic a digital sale
