Sorry these are such noob questions but I can't for the life of me figure these things out.

EDIT IGNORE #1 1. Where is the 'friend' button? I'm told I can find it in any posts by any specific author but I'm not seeing it anywhere.

2. How do I subscribe to a thread? I've been looking for this option under my personal/home/login/whatever screen but can't seem to find this option either.

I know these are the most basic noob questions but really I've only been lurking for the past few years and posted very rarely. Now that I'm pulling my armies together and becoming more active I find myself to be woefully ignorant.

Oh, and since this is an 'Introductions' thread... HI. My name is purplkrush and... uh... I'm a lurker. I've been lurking for several years now. And well, I think its time I got off my lazy ass and built an army.

You subscribe to a thread automatically by posting in it, or, at least on my screen, there's a "subscribe" button on the bottom left corner of the page.
