Does Virtuoso and Gunfighter stack?

As in Gunfighter allows for ranged weapons to be used as melee weapons, whilst Virtuoso allows you to make both ranged and melee attacks in the same turn.

This gives Holt 4 initial attacks but the question is can all four initials be the guns or do you have to use 2 attacks with guns and 2 attacks with his blades.

He has 4 weapons, 2 guns and 2 knives. He can use all 4 weapons in one activation. I don't see anything here that would let him use the guns more than once.

He could use all 4 attacks in melee, or kill something with the knives then use the guns as ranged attacks.

Well he only gets 1 initial with each gun. So it'd be 2 and 2. I'm genuinely curious what makes you think it'd be 4 shots?

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

Oh, I see the line of thinking. Since gunfighter allows guns to be used in melee ("as melee weapons") I believe the thought it that the guns can be used for the two initial ranged virtuoso attacks as guns, then used as melee weapons (rather than the actual melee weapons) for the melee portion of virtuoso.

The problem is that gunfighter doesn't treat guns as melee weapons, but allows them to be used in melee. Therefore, you would have to use the guns as ranged weapons (which you can thanks to gunfighter, though it is redundant since virtuoso also allows it) and the blades for the melee attack. Gunfighter is there in the chance that you may want to simply use the guns in melee, rather than going full-on virtuoso.

Yes they stack.

Gunfighter lets you use ranged weapons in melee. Virtuoso lets you make both ranged and melee attacks in the same activation.

If you only had Virtuoso, you couldn't use your ranged attacks if you were still locked in melee. but you could use your melee attacks first, kill yourself out of melee, and then shoot something. That is the common use. In melee with 2 guys, use melee attacks to kill them off, then use initial ranged attacks to shoot something else.

If you only have gunfighter, you can use ranged attacks in melee.

With both, you have total flexibility.
