Congress Park is bordered on the North by Colfax Ave., and the West by Colorado Blvd. It's a pretty central location just 5-10 minutes from Downtown by bike or car. South of your neighborhood on Colorado Blvd. near the cross with Mississippi Ave is one of the newer, smaller GW shops. They have some relatively small tables and a relatively young base of players. I've been there a couple of times and while the younger players are fairly easy to talk to, the older players are a little cliquey. Towards downtown is Broadway Blvd. and it runs parallel to Colorado. South on Broadway a fair drive is Bonnie Brae Hobby Shop near the cross with Hampden Blvd. If you purchase $100 or more in one trip you'll become part of their Preferred Members club for %10 off future purchases for 1 year. That place is a real chill, old-school style gaming shop with everything from board games to model rockets. There are other places around but those are the closest to your neighborhood. And be careful looking stuff up on the web; make sure you call first as 3 or 4 different places have gone out of business recently.
Get in touch with me when you get out here! I'm looking for a more central group as most I find groups are out near Boulder or down past the Highlands. Good luck with your move.

Thanks of the info!
I'll definitely contact you when I get settled in.
What miniatures games see a lot of play? Is there an interest in non-GW/PP gaming? Like Infinity, Malifaux, or FOW? or even more indie or less played stuff?

Honestly I couldn't tell you. I don't want to get caught up spreading myself too thin. I'm only just getting back into the hobby after almost 2 decades absence. Bonnie Brae seems to have a larger base of various games but there are other Hobby shops out in Lakewood and north Towards Westminister and Boulder.

Cool beans.
I'm looking to focus on 40K once I get settled into the area... but was just curious to see if other stuff got played.

I'm just getting back into 40k after about 3 years. I've just finished building the core of my Tau army so I'm ready to get some games in.
I'm in the Westminster/Broomfield area.
