Hello Dakka! Yes it is me again and I am here to ask a few silly questions. Now I used to play Khador and protectorate in MK1 and put the game aside for a while. Now that I'm back into wargaming I decided to go with a Sisters Of battle army, then I quickly realized that one unit of battle sisters with a transport costs nearly as much as a warmachine army. So nuts to that! My question is as follows:

I am interested in playing a combined force army with E Stryker. In mkII is he a competent castor that is fun to play? Or did I just pick up the mindless auto win button that sorcha was?

eHaley is the auto win, so don't worry there

I honestly haven't heard of people in my store playing eStryker in a long while. I believe he is an attrition caster with assassination potential.

Ah ok good. I tend to be more of an aggressive player so I feel like I'd enjoy that estryker over the rest.

I wouldn't call ehaley an auto win honestly, she is very good but is harder to learn with (she is great caster to switch to once you learned the game a bit).

Estryker is very much an assassination caster, he his the sort of caster that the assassination works best the first time the opponent plays against him.

eStryker is a solid pick if you want to run a bit of everything. He'll feel like he's both helping his army out and can do work himself if the opportunity arises.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.
