I used to have some Winsor & Newton Nut Brown ink many, many years ago. Liked the way it worked, especially for flesh..

Saw some inks in Hobby Lobby (HL) the other day and got to thinking about them again. Blues, Reds, Purples...tons of colors...got my curiosity piqued!

Anybody have some experience with using Inks for shading/etc? Any good tutorials? Need to refresh myself in their usage...far too long of a break!

I destroy my enemies when I make them my friends.

Three!! Three successful trades! Ah ah ah!

If you've used washes, it's just much intense form of it. Thin it down if you want it to act like a wash (some people add other stuff on it like drops of PVA glue). Use it full strength if you want to tint the whole thing.
