Recently had an issue with this, just wanted some confirmation. Which takes priority, the Merc Contract or the Theme Force? I had thought the Theme Force organization would, as it is very specific in order to obtain the benefits. But the guy I was playing with insisted that because his contract stated he could include a certain unit, he was allowed to while retaining the benefits of the Theme Force, even though the unit was not a part of the Theme Force. Specifically, this was Magnus1 running Devil Dogs under Four Star Syndicate.

It's an either or situation. Either take a contract list or a theme list. Page 20 of the Forces of Mercenaries first line, second paragraph under Contracts and Theme Forces.

Yep, only Contract bonuses OR Theme force bonuses, never both.
