Hey everyone out there! I've created a Eldar 1850 List that I have some questions about, wondering if anyone would like to give me some advice if they see any weak spots in the army.
I call this list "Fuegan's Resistance"
So here it is!
HQ
-Farseer (Singing Spear)
-Fuegan, the Burning Lance
Elite
-x10 Fire Dragons, Exarch w/ Fire Pike and Fast Shot
-x10 Fire Dragons, Exarch w/ Fire Pike and Fast Shot
-x10 Fire Dragons, Exarch w/ Fire Pike and Fast Shot
Troops
-x10 Guardians, Heavy Weapon w/ Star Cannon
-x10 Guardians, Heavy Weapon w/ Star Cannon
-x10 Guardians, Heavy Weapon w/ Star Cannon
-x10 Guardians, Heavy Weapon w/ Bright Lance
Heavy Support
-Falcon w/ Pulse Lazer, Twin-linked SC & Bright Lance
-x3 Support Battery w/ Shadow Weaver
-x3 Support Battery w/ Shadow Weaver
So as you can tell I really like Guardians and Fire Dragons. The battle plan for this list is to have the 3 Guardian squads run up the front line to protect the 3 Fire Dragon squads. The final Guardian squad will stay back with the Farseer to protect the Support Batteries and let the farseer cast Guide and Prescience on the 2 Batteries. The only other thing is the falcon who will be flying around cleaning up any unit with its 3 S8 AP 2 shots. That's Pretty much it and I would love some Ideas if anyone has anything that would help.

I have always loved fuegan, fist phoenix lord I had ever gotten, and have always loved his fluff.
Cool list, seams vehicles would just stay out of fire dragons way, and any lbs would be terrible vs this.

Well, foot slogging is a slow way to die. I'd mount the Fire Dragons (5 men units) into Serpents and drop the Falcon.

I love the idea behind this list. But wuest has a point....eldar, especially guardians, just cant walk across the battlefield anymore :/
would you rather have a fire pike, or vectored engines which makes you a good 8" closer to your enemy? (move, pivot, disembark, fire guns, pivot back)
I swapped guardians for DAs because they have better saves by a mile and longer range. Better for backing up dragons, otherwise everything is at 12", ready to be assaulted...
Farseer is now advancing with the avengers. Night Spinners go pew pew while repositioning into cover.
I was thinking something like this, a bit more mobile + mechanised:
220: Fuegan
100: Farseer
400: 10 Fire Dragons w/ Exarch and Fast Shot + Wave Serpent w/ TL SL, SC, holo-fields and vectored engines
400: 10 Fire Dragons w/ Exarch and Fast Shot + Wave Serpent w/ TL SL, SC, holo-fields and vectored engines
160: 10 Dire Avengers w/ Exarch, power maul and shimmershield
160: 10 Dire Avengers w/ Exarch, power maul and shimmershield
130: Night Spinner w/ holo-fields
130: Night Spinner w/ holo-fields
130: Night Spinner w/ holo-fields
= 1830
I am also a bit bummed that you can't fit in 30 dragons in easily...save that for apocalypse :3 Automatically Appended Next Post: Just realised that if you put Fuegan with one of the dragon squads you got 620 points in one model xD

Looks like a fun list! The only thing I'd be concerned with are hordes. Maybe get some Template weapons in there somewhere, like a Nightspinner instead of Falcon? Otherwise, looks like a fun idea!

Ices list has plenty of one, and a way to let the dragons do their stuff.

Second dropping the falcon for something with a blast, spinner or prism. Prism is generally more useful as you have the shadow weavers for the barrage. Whatever tank you take, grab holo fields.
With all the melta/rending you have, why do you need starcannons? Scatter lasers add to crowd control, and if the guardians are just screens shuricannons are cheap and effective.
