I thought the rules for the SM masters would be in it turns out they are not. Where can I find them? Also on forgeworlds website it has a page listing all the forgeworld models represented in the book, like it says the tau orca is supposed to be on page 4, well in my digital copy it isn't. Do only hard copy books get rules listed on this page?

http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Home/Apocalypse.html

Thanks

The listing on that page is just where the pictures of the models are, so if you see a cool FW model in one of the battle scenes you can identify it and buy one. If you want the rules you'll need to buy the FW Imperial Armour Apocalypse book which will be released in the near future.

Considering the Lord Executioner and the other new SM masters aren't Forgeworld models, why would you look on their site? The chapter masters are all part of an Apocalypse formation.

Otherwise, he's a Jump Pack Captain with a Relic Blade.

What I meant to say in the first sentence was I didn't see their rules in the new apoc book. What page in the apoc rule book says he has a relic blade? I see the formation on page 161 but nothing specifically saying he has a relic blade or is a regular captain.

Thanks

Unless you're using the specific chapter masters formation the lord executioner is just a cool model to represent a normal HQ choice that happens to be armed with that equipment. A jump pack captain with relic blade is the closest match in C:SM for what the model looks like.

I'm glad I didn't buy the model now. Because I was thinking he and the other masters would have amazing rules and gear.

Wonder why gw would make a great looking IC that isn't special, and would get beat down by the first thing that challenges it in combat?

Look at it this way, if the rules suck you don't have to put up with having to fix a finecast "model", you can just ignore the useless unit.

That's a good way of looking at it I guess. I was just really looking forward to having an awesome assault marine and devastator captain.

I feel as if its wasted potential, unless they will have rules in the space marine update, if they even get one in the next couple years.
