so i made a thread already but wasn't useful enough
the armies i like are:
csm
salamanders
tyranids
blood angels

i like all alot and cant decide which one i want to buy

Why do you like them?

What do you look for in an army?

csm because reminds me of dicepticon
salamanders because they have cool lava thingy look
well not tyranids any more now imperial guard because they remind me of like war movies and stuff
and blood angels because sanguinous so sad

Well, what kind of thing is most important?

Is it how the models look? How the army plays? Something about the fluff?

Always go for the look. You'll be painting them for a long time, you better like the models or else it will just feel like a bore.

Narrow it down to CSM or BA. Power armor is a good starter army. I'd do Blood Angels but give them guard allies.

Well personally I like tyranids but it's your decision. What do you look for in an army? To run up and assault or to sit back and shoot?

go CSM. You get a lot of cool options with them and can do a lot of cool conversions if you get bored with the modeling side.

You can also get them pretty cheap with the DV starter set.

Salamanders are a really good option from the space marine codex and twin-linkend meltas and flamers are awsome in my humble opinion.

i like imperial guard are they good allies with anyone?

Go Salamanders. Not too many tactical choices when using flamers and there's a new codex for space marines coming in October (right?)

Blood Angels to start and Imperial Guard allied. Guard has intense firepower and BA can close in and assault like no others..FURIOSO!!!

Codex SM with Guard Allies would suit you fine

Our collectors 2000pts of ever army. i have 7armies so far. also its makes it easier to play the game and not have to find a club with all the different armies. So you don't have marines fighting each other all the time.

Well CSM have a new codex. The vanilla SM codex will come out soon giving you eventually access to new Salamanders. I'd go for Sallies.
