Hi there,

Could someone please confirm for me if the shrouded rule only works in cover or say if you have a daemon prince with a 5+ invulnerable save already does it make it 3+? Same with power armour does it make it 2+

Many thanks

You have to be in cover for shrouded to work and it works only for cover.

Shrouded works at all times to improve your cover save by two ( you do not need to be in cover P41). It has no effect on armor or invuln saves whatsoever

Also I think this is in the wrong section, should go in "you make the call"

As said should be in YMDC.
Furthermore, the rule clearly states how it deals with being out in the open.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
