Look I love the new eldar dex but is there anyone out there in the world who uses the hemlock Wraithfighter? For the points it just doesn't compete against the crimson hunter. So my question is if there is anyone who uses the Wraithfighter and is it actually any good?

It just doesn't work. Its gimmick is being a vehicle psyker but you can't cast maledictions on the turn the psyker arrives from reserves and being such a fragile flyer it probably won't get to survive more then 1 turn so it pretty much won't get to do anything worth while

@Halfpast_Yellow, get that photo on the gallery. There's voting to be done....

I've not used the Hemlock yet, and doubted I ever would.

What powers and weapons work with it, and hence, which models?
It looks like it would work with snipers and barrage, for pinning. Eldritch Storm pins, too.
Is there any power a Warlock gets that would be of use? Horrify helps, but doesn't trigger a roll.

The list is quite long, Eldar can bring together more than most. Aside from the usual end of Shooting and Assault phase checks, which obviously count for a lot,

Maugan Ra (Gun)
Jain Zar (Fear)
Illic Nightspear (Gun)
Asurmen (Diresword)
Avatar of Khaine (Fear)
Eldritch Storm (Runes of Fate, Pinning)
Dominate (Telepathy)
Terrify (Telepathy, won't help the initial morale check for first turn, but works for fear and running those fearless things down)
Uldanorethi Long Rifle

Starshot missiles, Plasma Missiles (Pinning, possible on Guardian Defenders, Wave Serpents, Vypers, Dark Reapers, Falcons, Warwalkers, Wraithlords)
Vaul's Support, D-Cannons, Vibrocannons, and Shadow Weavers. (Pinning)
Nightspinners (Pinning)
Rangers (Pinning)
Waveserpent (Serpent Shield, Pinning)
Death Jester (Pinning)

Warp Spiders (Pinning, Spinneret Rifle)
Dark Reaper Exarch, (Pinning, Tempest Launcher)
Dire Avengers (Dire Sword)
Howling Banshees (Fear)

Enemy units that make use of Psykers, Counter-Attack, Force Weapons and Split Fire are also affected.

Anything that rolls on
LD10 goes from 1/12 odds of failing the roll to 1/6 (odds of a Terminator failing a save, obviously)
LD9 from 1/6 to 1/3 (Turns Terminator odds into Marine odds)
LD8 and less you're more likely to fail than pass.

As for the Heavy D-Scythes, yeah the profile is disappointing and they're almost secondary to the primary LD effect, but I've sent a Daemon Prince, a Riptide, and a Dreadknight to the Warp, killed plenty of Marines behind Aegis lines, and so on.

In Regards to the paintjob, it's one of my fav models, but tabletop quality at best, I don't see it anywhere near worth being voted on like some of the beautiful things artists on here can turn out.

Do all of those count as a "Morale or Pinning test"?. I thought a leadership roll /= morale roll.

Ugh, going through the book at night and not even rechecking the entry. Sorry.

Shortens it to,

Maugan Ra (Gun)
Illic Nightspear (Gun)
Eldritch Storm (Runes of Fate, Pinning)
Terrify (Telepathy, won't help the initial morale check for first turn, but works for fear and running those fearless things down)
Uldanorethi Long Rifle

Starshot missiles, Plasma Missiles (Pinning, possible on Guardian Defenders, Wave Serpents, Vypers, Dark Reapers, Falcons, Warwalkers, Wraithlords)
Vaul's Support, D-Cannons, Vibrocannons, and Shadow Weavers. (Pinning)
Nightspinners (Pinning)
Rangers (Pinning)
Waveserpent (Serpent Shield, Pinning)
Death Jester (Pinning)

Warp Spiders (Pinning, Spinneret Rifle)
Dark Reaper Exarch, (Pinning, Tempest Launcher)

I usually have a lot of pinning sources in the armies I play, EML on Guardians/Falcon, Waveserpent Shields, Rangers, Warp Spiders, Vauls Support and Nightspinners make regular appearances. Even the odd Death Jester.
