Hello, I'm new to warmachine and don't have any models yet
I want to start cygnar and I'm just wondering what jacks and other stuff would make a good (preferably cheap) 15 point list.
I don't know much about the rules yet but I'd like it to be fun and a good start to a larger competitive army, thanks in advance

I think nearly everyone will tell you to grab the Cygnar Battlegroup to start with. Its around £30 if you shop around and comes with a caster and three jacks and starts you off at 11 points!

Maybe get used to just playing with the battlebox (a lot of players are welcoming to new players and will happily give you a battlebox starter game). Then get what you like the look of!

Battlecollege is a great resource (if a little outdated) to get some insight in to what a model can do for you on the battlefield.

Thanks man, yeah the battle box looks like it's really good value for money. I might get that and take it from there
