I seen this scheme and want to try it on my new carnifex i just recieved. The problem is i have no idea what colors are needed and in what order i should apply them...

Any ideas on how these scheme was accomplished? Dont have to be 100% sure just get me close

I see orange and grey maybe some red. There is alot of blending in there. It would take a good write up to explain how to apply the colors to achieve that look. Best bet is to pick up the obvious colors and pain a test model.

I feel like it was based yellow then glazed orange for some reason.

ether that based orange then highlighted yellow.

Yeah not sure as it really could be any colors. I also feel it was based either orange/yellow then washed/glazed then rehighlighted.

Honestly if I were you I would try to contact the seller and ask what colors they used. I have done this exact same thing and the person was really cool about it and gave me a list of the colors they used. I would doubt that they would not help you.

looks like they started with a medium orange on a white basecoat, highlighted with a light orange then a medium yellow, inked with orange, then highlighted with a 1:2 mix of the light orange and yellow. extreme highlights with just yellow. the plating looks like base white, then coated with a khaki, washed with a brown, then highlighted with the khaki, then extreme highlight with a 1:1 khaki white mix. thats just my guess, though, i dont know the names of the GW, P3, or Valejo colors, as i use apple barrel, ceremcoat, and americana paints, as they are cheaper and you get a lot more.

As someone who has recently come over to the glaze side, there looks to be a massive amount of glazing. Not sure on the orange glazes but it looks to be a fairly uncomplicated medium orange base with highlights, then either red or orange glazes and likely both. The Grey appears to be a medium grey with a couple black glaze layers with a few other colors done in spot glazing.
