What would you do with this? Would AV14 be a big weakness, or would it be able to play around it?
HQ
Farseer, Spear, Mantle, Jetbike
Troops
10 Dire Avengers
+ Wave Serpent, Holofield, Scatter Laser, Cannon
10 Dire Avengers

6 Jetbikes, 2 Cannon
Fast Attack
1 Crimson Hunter Exarch
6 Swooping Hawks
Heavy Support
2 War Walkers, Scatter Laser and Starcannon Each

Should I go 3 War Walkers and drop something? Any other suggestions / tactics to use this list with?

Yeah with only 3 units which can (with difficulty) deal with AV14, you may be in trouble. Instead of DAs, try guardians with a brightlance platform. They can stay in the backfield against AV14-heavy lists, or offensive with infantry lists (AV14 lists tend to be low on infantry)
The Crimson Hunter isn't going to be too great in this list, especially with no reserve control - you will die 50% of the time, if the enemy flier arrives after you. Add an autarch or ADL with comms-relay to make it more reliable.
Otherwise, pretty balanced, if slightly anti-infantry heavy, list.

C.Hunter isn't point efficient at 1850, certainly not at 1500.
The 3 war walkers outflanking should be enough to at least threaten a flyer.
I agree guardians > dire avengers if you're going to have 10.
5 dire avengers may be better than 10 guardians if the goal is cheap serpents.

What would you suggest instead of a Crimson Hunter?
I use Dire Avengers as they operate better outside of the transport and don't die so easily.

If you aren't going full serpent spam then I would suggest swapping the DAs for Guardians (w/ shuriken cannon platform). Of course they operate better outside of transport, but they're in one The Wave Serpent/Jetbike mix is extremely strong, but you have significantly reduced firepower if you take DAs. The Guardians don't need to survive, they unload their shots and get poked at the next turn. But you have jetbikes, so it doesn't matter if the pewpew guardians die.
About the AV14, it's not hard to fit a few bright lances in there. Just refit the War Walkers and that's all you have to do.
Drop the farspear if you can.
I like this Night Spinner. Synergises extremely well with Swooping Hawks and the like.
Instead of a Crimson Hunter?

Why not take a third War Walker, and give each of them Scatter Laser/ Bright lance? Or even 2x Bright Lance?? You have virtually nothing that can threaten armor at range, there really is no good reason for taking more AI weapons on the War Walkers when what you really need is AT weaponry.
I agree on the Crimson Hunter, yes he will hit on 2s, but it's not guaranteed he will arrive when you need him, and it's still only 4 shots total. Not exactly a game-turner like many other fliers for the points (le sigh...Eldar always have something that gets tanked in their codexes)

6 bright lances is a little overkill. Paying 210 pts for a squad to take out an AV14. Too much. I would go for 4 lances which can destroy it in 1-2 turns.

Not overkill for lances. They have better survivabilty, and your giving them a third more fire power. Worth it to me.
Swap DAs for gaurdians pls. They are cheaper and will kill just as much as DAs, are way cheaper, and both the gaurdians and the DAs willd ie when looked at.

Drop the two DA squads down to 5 mans, drop one bike squad and add a 10 man guardian squad in a wave serpent, and find the points for a 3 Walker go BL/BL w/them

On the walkers go sc/bl on all 3 that's 3 twin linked bls and still some anti infantry

Well then you're going to regret spending 210 points on 6 lances, it will die to controlled firepower. Whereas 2 war walkers aren't as valuable.

I can see scatter laser / bright lance as an 'all rounder' build that's not too bad against both targets (only one fewer shot than SL/Stacannon per walker) but going all Lances to super specialise can give you some less useful walkers.

Icy? Didn't you just post asking about the order of operations for setting up a game because you have no BRB? How can you give advice if you've never played?

.__. I have played, I just don't have a BRB.
Well I've played once in 6th ed. 100 times in 5th ed. But I still know about the game I guess...

What I mean by operate outside of the transport is that if it dies, the 4+ save protects better against the explosion, and if I want them to get out and shoot something, they can do it from further away (and I really don't want enemies assaulting my Serpents as its really vulnerable in assault) and have better defences outside.
With Guardians, to get the better survivability I will need to add a Warlock (who nullifies the points advantage I had taking Guardians), and still don't have the range if they do, and they aren't that reliable this edition.
I would consider a platform with a BL, but it means the rest can't take advantage of the firepower, and with an AI platform they still need to get too close for comfort with the rest of their guns.
Also, I play Biel Tan colours.

I get a lot of use out of my Dire Avengers, but it will depend on the meta. Dire Avengers don't do well against Tau and other heavy saturation of fire armies. They do amazing versus elite assault armies though, which I see alot in my meta.
Whoever said drop the Farseer's spear isn't thinking clearly IMO. The Spear on a Jetseer is a nearly must have upgrade for army versatility.
I would swap the two Walkers over to double Brightlances, the Scatter/Starcannon is a great combo and useful in some lists, but with your prevalence of other anti-infantry volume of fire...not necessary in your current list.
Nightspinner is okay, but the required synergy turns me off compared to Fire Prisms. I won't try to persuade you to change it, it is still a great Heavy Support choice...just not my cup of tea.
Pulling the Hunter for Spiders is a great option, honestly. Unless people wouldn't mind you proxying it as a Nightwing Interceptor, I wouldn't field the Hunter as it is far too fragile for the points investment.
