I can only go by the rules in Codex: Space Marine and Space Wolves (don't have others) but they say something along the lines of "in addition to firing a StormBolter".
The Quad Gun isn't a Stormbolter...

In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

If you're trying to fire both the ADL quad gun and the Cyclone Missile Launcher at the same time, then the answer is NO, you may not fire both. See page 96 BRB for Emplaced Weapons, Manual Fire. "a model within can choose to fire one of
the emplaced weapons INSTEAD OF HIS OWN."
If, however, you want to use the Quad Gun's special rules of skyfire/interceptor on your opponents turn and then fire the Cyclone Missile Launcher normally on your turn, then that is allowed.

The Quad Gun isn't an Emplaced Weapon.
It's a Gun Emplacement (p105).
It doesn't have Auto/Manual fire. Very common mistake.
But your other points were spot on.
