More out of interest than anything else, I recall a mod saying sometime ago, as long as users keep uploading pics, Dakka/lego will host them.
What is the current gallery size at? Does it cost a lot to host the gallery (being that most pics are 2mb?).

The max is 10MB per image. It costs us a rough average of around 0.6c per image per year to host, so one annual DCM subscription covers 1% of the gallery per year which is quite reasonable.
