Need to really start getting back into gaming, and not just modelling and painting.

Basically really looking for any friendly competitors who fancy having some fun and really just easing myself back into the gaming aspect, before getting heavy games in GW tournaments and such.

Based in Plymouth, got some decent places here to play (The Dragons Lair, and if Antics stops being full of judgemental card players and spray some deodorant around the place), but would be happy to travel a bit. Have like near to no friends who are into the hobby!

Gonna give this a bump, cus surely there's some south devon gamers out there!

Im a wargamer in plymouth, im not that experienced with the rules of 40k though, dont know if youre still interestes in meeting up for a game?

I'm based in Plymouth, been to the Thursday night gaming at GW and they're a nice bunch, and I agree with you about Antics, wish they'd do some 40K/Fantasy events rather than just cards, but I haven't been to Giant's Lair yet. Come down to GW though on Thursdays, currently got a 40K campaign going on, and you'll never be looking for someone to play with there, it's pretty popular every week

Usually I don't finish work til 8 on a Thursday and it's too late to come down :/ been to Antics once with my army. The card players complained because we were taking up 'their' valuable table space, we felt so unwelcome! If I can, i'll pop down to GW on a thursday night.

Yeah dude, i'll be more than happy to play! I know the rules, but not perfectly, be a great way to properly learn the rules! (sorry for such a late reply aha)

It's always good to see new faces there. I'm not sure if the Lair's doing any events soon though.

Hey guys, I am getting back into 40k and have the 7th editions rules and my new wolves codex. I just need to find some people to play games with (Since the lair shut). If anyone is willing to let me integrate into their group that would be great. Thanks Matt
