Just bought lizardmen battalion and am trying to figure out different cool schemes to pair them. Any suggestions would be wonderful :-). Had an Idea of maybe rattlesnake diamond back would be cool. But still am looking. An any paint guide would be cool on how to paint lizardmen. Thanks guys :-D

With my li\zards I have been going for a contrasting colour scheme with the bellies and the scales in different colours, going for that real eye catching piss off I am a lizard and I may bite you look lol.

However a diamond back scheme of Lizards would certainly be unique and if done with some patience look very cool

Had that problem myself, I got a saurus old blood and initally did him DA green with a teal on the scales and gold armour, stripped him immediately cos it wasn't the right colour contrast. Then I went for blue scales and purple armour.

I like em to be striking hehe.

For the Lion and Terra!

Because nothing in the galaxy is black and white, Mankind views the Space Marines as a last resort. The last line. When all else fails. They take up the burden. The noble defenders of Mankind. The last hope.

With finecast you can bypass the washing stage and throw them straight into the bin.

Or cut out the middleman and just flush some money down the toilet.

This is what mine look like (I'm sorry, picture is a bit dark, but you get the general idea):

It's pretty straightforward and does't look too great on a single mini. But since this is WHFB and you have ranks of models, I think it works fine.
So, here is how I paint mine:

Spray: Chaos Black
Whole Model: Rakarth Flesh
Scales: Khorne Red
Whole Model: Agrax Earthshade
Shield: Castellan Green
Shield: Athonian Camoshade
Shield: Underhive Ash
Shield: Athonian Camoshade
Scales: Agrax Earthshade
Weapon: Rhinox Hide
Stone: Mechanicus Standard Grey
Stone (Highlight): Dawnstone
Eyes: Incubi Darkness
Teeth: Praxety White
Teeth: Agrax Earthshade
Base: Lustrian Undergrowth
Base: Underhive Ash
Base: Athonian Camoshade
Base Trim: Steel Legion Drab

I personally don't like the blue look too much. It can look good when done properly, but I couldn't do it
However, I think your idea sounds really good.
