As the Title says, I am 100% sure this list will do absolutely nothing in my FLGS, But I thought it would be an ok idea to run by Das Internetz and see what reaction it would get.
Just a note: I don't like Wraiths so will never field them, so anyone who will read and say "moar wraiths herpadurr" please leave now.
The List:
HQ
Imotekh the Stormlord
Nemesor Zahndrek
Vargard Obyron
Royal Court - Stormlord
Lord: Sepiternal Weave, Res Orb, Warscythe
LanceTek x2
Royal Court - Nemesor
VeilTek
2x StormTek
Troops
10 Warriors w/ LanceTek <-- x2
10 Warriors w/ Ghost Ark
Elites
5 Lychguard w/ Sword & Board
8 Flayed Ones
Fast Attack
6 Scarabs
Heavy Support
Spyder
2x AnniBarges
totals at 1994 points
The idea:
Join all the ICs + the Lord to the Lychguard, and Ghostwalk them in on Turn 1, where they join Infiltrated Flayed Ones
VeilTek and StormTeks stay as a court, Veiling in on turn 1 and killing a tank, rinse and repeat
the Ghost Ark goes full pelt towards the least defended objective your opponent has, Flat outing for a 4+ Jink
LanceTek + Warrior Bricks babysit your objectives and plink away at whatever your opponent is sending across the board
Scarabs do what scarabs do best, run at a tank and eat it
Your opponent has got 2 units of CC decency in his face, alongside a dead <insert big expensive battle tank type thing here>, with another 2 set to go down next turn
he either focusses all fire to remove them, meaning the (albeit very little) of your remaining army goes completely unharmed, or he ignores them and they start killing things off very quickly from turn 2+.
The only problem I see with this list is Anti-FLyer, but turning 8 Haywire shots, even without Skyfire, should be enough to get about 2 hits, and Haywire will damage it.
Should the Bomb be destroyed completey, and all the ICs (who would be wound tankers, as they all have 2+) stay down, I think you would still have a chance to win if your Warriors hold objectives
