Running your Sorc on the Disk of Tzeentch makes me worry that you're considering scooting him around the table sans escort. But you're more clever than that. ...Right? 'Cause Jetbike doesn't confer any special rules on the unit he joins with, AFAIK, and giving your opponent First Blood & Kill the Warlord in a nice expensive 1-shotable package isn't something anyone wants to do. Besides, that's 30pts to pop in another Thousand Son!

It really was just the idea of my dude zooming about that got me. Do the
CSM have jetbike units aside from disks of tzeentch?
I nerver realy like how many players are combining thousand sons with heldrake. Both are ap3 except the bf ignores cover. I feel that with 40 inferno bolters you do not need 2 bf templates. Instead i would take spawns to intercept and tie down close combat squads. Or take bikes or raptors with meltaguns to pop tanks since they can move 12"-18" (bikes turbo). That way i can take those vindi or plasmafiends to kill TEq.
Yeah I realized that. I was thinking of swapping one of them out, and replacing the other one's baleflamer with the hades autocannon for better anti-air (because
IMO their point was anti-horde as well as vector striking flyers)
I'm not too worried about the tanks because of the tri-las Preds
tbh, but I could see myself swapping those out too for something less... well boring.
Currently, I'm thinking of dropping one of the small squads of
TS marines, one of the heldrakes and the tri-las preds, dropping the disk of tzeentch (or maybe replacing it with that daemon flamer just for extra anti-horde if I do replace the baleflamer with a hades autocannon) then maybe allying myself with chaos daemons or guard and picking up some anti-
TEQ from there.
