Here's the deal. I've been challenged by a someone I'd rather not lose to. We both play Skaven. I've just started, and he hasn't played in a long time, but he has been collecting for a while. I'm afraid I really don't have anything int the way of big guns and with such a low body count...do I even stand a chance? He's not the greatest, but if he brings in heavy weapons like a Doom Wheel, or Thunder Cannon, how can I counter? It'll most likely be a 1000 point battle due to my lack of points. Oh, and I also have Queek if that means anything.

Plague monks wreck gak with the plague banner use that. And what are you running for rares? Last piece of advice is a lvl 2 warlock with warp energy consider and just spam warp lightning.

Guessing by Thunder Cannon you mean Warplighting Cannon? First, you should definitely be packing one or two of those. To counter his, gutter runners with poisoned slings is the usual go-to.

Other than that? Warpfire Throwers kill rats just as dead as anything else, better than some because skaven have to go deep so often.

What is a Plague Banner? I looked it up in the Magic Banner section and found nothing...

And Steamdragon, sorry bout that. Since I just started I really don't got much to work with. I got 80 Clanrats (Though I've been using them as Stormvermin) Queek, 4 Rat Ogres, 2 Master Moulders, 2 Warlocks, and 4 weapons teams...That's really about it. Do I stand a chance without the Skaven Big guns?
