I am currently working on a list with CSM and Tau allies for our local city campaign I am in. I am very interested in Tau and need help on deciding what to take. Mainly I am looking for some air support and want to use the Riptide/broadside model because I like the look. I have not had a chance to pickup the codex and thumb through yet. I wanted to post here before I picked up the book to get a few ideas on what people would suggest for my needs. Don't know what HQ to take, but I want a riptide/broadside for sure and fire warriors in there for troops possibly. Again the main objective of taking Tau is for some air support against xenos/marine flyers w/e.

My current choices for CSM
