Well in this case it's a Stormtalon, the few times I've used a wash it just ends up streaky and dirty looking. Getting really frustrayed and am dreading getting to his stage!

If anyone can help a step by step guide would help millions! I really don't want to ruin my latest! Also what after wash? Dry brush, Highlight?

Probably best not to wash a vehicle that has alot of flat panels.

if your just trying to get the wash into the recesses. try to coat it with a Gloss coat. then load up brush wish your wash and tap the area you want there to be shade.
it should pull the wash off your brush and line the area you need it too.

then seal with a matt varnesh to get rid of the shine.

i would edge highlight and dry brush before washing with the gloss coat method.

Somewhere in south-central England.

I would paint the wash on all over, especially the edges of the plates and dab off the middle of the plates with a sponge. This concentrates the wash effect into the rivets, weld lines and so on.

There are loads of techniques for detailing armour and they can often be combined if you want to spend the time. In making this heavily weathered vehicle I did multiple goings over with different washes and dry brushings over a basic salt weathering technique.
