Quick question , I see some of my paints , namely the metallics have a sort of a white translucent layer of liquid sitting on top of the actual paint. Shaking it doesn't seem to mix it up but I've had a bad back recently and haven't been able to shake it insanely hard.

Is this normal ?

Stirring it normally does it for me.

Metallics tend to separate

Drop a glass bead or a small smooth rock into the pot to help agitate it better

Edit: Like a size of a 28mm skull. nothing huge.

Yeah I have had that before but I just shake it really well and that does the trick. It is probably just elements separating in the paint.

Is the paint really old? Yeah I would just try stirring with a toothpick or something.

Wow thanks guys ! I will definitely try stirring it up or I like the small bead agitator idea. Its fairly new haven't used it much just opened it.

The agitator is a heaven's boon: less time shaking, smoother, better mixed paint, metallics especially benefit from them.
Also a small hand centrifuge (the ones to clean/dry vegetables): tie the pots in it and give it a good turn

Wouldn't a centrifuge separate the individual components? At least that's what i recall what a centrifuge does.
