Apart from the stompa kit, is there any other kits that supply them? Or bits sites that do?

bits and kits uk is sold out of them, and ebay is pretty lacking.

Anyone have any ideas?

Battlewagon the sprue with deffrollah includes a grot rigger.
then there's the grot (oiler) from GW..

I don't see the need to model them, necessarily. It can be imagined that they're hiding underneath armor plating so they don't get blasted to bits.

Just buy a box of grots and use them on your vehicles.

It would be nice if GW sold Grots. As it is I tend to use the Gretchin models.

I didn't used to model any characters on vehicles when I started, but now my Ork vehicles are a lot more busy. They do look a lot better with Boyz & Gretchin clambering all over them.

Yeah I know the FW ones, but don't fancy shelling out over £20 for them :/ aha

I know they're not necessary, but it just adds character to the models

Man I didn't even realise that grot oiler figure was a thing! It's not on the UK site :(

Yeah that grot oiler doesn't seem to be available anymore which is a shame as I never got round to ordering one :(

Picked up some grot riggers in a pile of bits from ebay, adds so much more character to the model

Just cut off the gun from grots in a Gretchin box and give them a dinky hammer/screwdriver in its place bam jobs done lol

Or keep the gun, but glue a small screwhead into it to make it a drill...

Use the stikkbomb grot arms and add a hammer head at the end of the bomb.
