So I've used the search function and all I can find is things about a golden era for marines and forge world at tournaments On Google all I can find is results for adepticon and further back. I haven't been able to find anything for the summer of 2013 (since tau came out) and Im curious to see what's winning the tournaments. Can anyone tell me of a good site that's dedicated to tournament results?

There aren't because there is no DCI-equivalent group for Warhammer.

Is there a player ran site that gives tourney results? I'm always seeing people say that X army won the last few tournaments or the X's are still the best army because they're still winning topping all the tournaments. How do they know if there isn't somewhere to go?

Rankings HQ has been that place in the past.

However, they are very sporadic in what is reported and what is not (at least in my experience). There are a number of tournaments that I have attended that have not shown up in their database. I do not know if this is a shortcoming by the tournament organizers to report the results to them, or if the Rankings HQ team is reluctant to put up results in a timely manner/or at all.

I would be a huge fan of something that is more reliable. The trouble is the amount of work and upkeep that this would require, especially because finding a way to monetize from something like this is difficult.

Rankings HQ only publishes results for tournaments that are submitted to them. So it's up to TOs to send them in. If you're not seeing tournies showing up, it's because they weren't submitted, or they were in a non-sponsored area... which is the other problem with Rankings HQ. Since they implemented the new paid system, only registered users show up, and two thirds of the database disappeared from view overnight. SO the results displayed now are next to useless.

I'm honestly surprised that a circuit has not emerged yet.

Games Workshop used to have something similar if I remember correctly (I was not an avid tournament player at that point). Then they had the Throne of Skulls, which has also since been axed.

There are a few tournaments that filter into an invitational of course but I mean something more along the lines of the way NASCAR drivers get points, etc.

Have like 5 or 6 tournaments that are on the circuit throughout the year, you get points based on your standings in the event. Then you have an overall winner at the end with a bunch of other best of awards and stuff.

More just a concept at this point, but there I feel like there could be a lot more depth to the tournament scene. It would also help incentivize some players to travel to another tournament that they may not go to normally (within traveling reason of course) if they have done well on the circuit up to that point.

Im also very surprised. Considering how competitive American players get it seems like there would be a website dedicated to that kind of thing that has connections with the big tourney players that like to travel.
