So, I started playing it today (cause you know, it launched today). I love this game already, the battles aren't super, it's mostly about creating a deathball and supporting it in your dragon form. Where this game shines the most is outside of combat. Talking with your generals and diplomats is just hilarious (especialy the lizard general).

It's probably not for everyone but if you like having to manage the political side of things while doing turn based planning for battles, which you can then choose to do yourself in real time, or let them auto resolve by assigning one of your generals... well, it's lovely.

That voice is god awful, lol. Outside of that I'm not too big a fan of the design choices made in the game.

I have my eye on this, interestingly enough all the stuff besides the actual RTS'ing seems the most engaging.

Also I wouldn't begrudge trailer voice work too much, in fact from the bits of in game stuff I've heard actual VA in-game is pretty good.

Oh, the stuff outside of the RTS parts is far more engaging, entertaining and all round fun then the actual combat, good thing you only need to enter combat yourself when the odds are really against you and you can't have one of your generals handle it.

The voice acting in the game is stellar. Also, the game deals with quite some heavy topics. I've already had to make rulings about gay marriage, equal rights for women, temple tax, foreign criminal policies and the like.

And Edmund is a total baller.

Mhm.... I got offered princesses by the 5 races and I could pick one to marry.... the imp princess blew herself up on the way to my ship.

Shame the RTS part is so bad. The characters could be a little less... caricature-ish. The game has some nice ideas outside the battle. Really hope other games will steal borrow and improve those ideas.
Also, a dragon with a jetpack? I'll take eight!
