Everything is pretty much sold out or only starter sets left at all my local gaming stores, wondering if you guys have any unexpected places to suggest that you've found stuff? Target has been hit or miss for me. Only been able to find the starter set at target and its a coin flip on whether or not they have it. I've had pretty good luck finding stuff at Barnes and Noble book stores. The BN website generally doesnt list much stock but I've been able to find decent hauls from just going into the stores

Any other suggestions?

Amazon (third party sellers) and ebay, and watch carefully. In the past week I've picked up A-wings and TIE interceptors at normal retail price and seen all of the others available, but who has them in stock can change between adding the item to your cart and starting to check out. You just have to keep an eye on it and make sure you grab what you want asap when someone gets them in stock.

I've had good luck at my local Hobby Town and Barnes and Nobel.
At BN, ask if what you want isn't on the shelf. For some reason, they keep a lot of the game stuff in storage rather than on the shelf.

I try to buy from my FLGS first but their stocks are low. Barnes and noble has been good, there are so many in my area I could literally hit up 7 in an hours time. I just got a Millenium Falcon from one yesterday. It seems that while one B&N might only have 2 x-wings on the shelves another might have 40 advanced ties and a handful of Y's. you just gotta keep checking.

I believe wallmart nd targe also carry the boxed starter set in their board games sections.

Target definitely carries the boxed starter, sadly they don't have anything else

My local target has like 5 to 7 copies atm.

I've also heard reports that some target stores clearenced out the starter set. I've got a few friends that picked up a bunch of the starters at like 15 bucks

Yes, one of our local Targets has clearanced their X Wing games, and so far at least the others have not. (and were back to $40 a box) Target apparently marks down toys on Thursdays.

You can go to target.com and check out stock, if it says "limited", I think that means "hurry in".

any idea if they move them to the clearance section in the store or just mark them down and leave them in the toy section?

$28 for the starter set (including shipping) is a great deal!

The Target that had them on clearance just marked them at their usual position. I think that if they make it to the second round of mark down, they would be moved to an endcap display.

They clearanced out the FFG Silver Line for sure, but not X-wing yet in my area.
