I have designed this list for a fun army to be used in games against friends...
Also... barre the Sanguinor.... all models can (and will) be made from 6 boxes of Sanguinary Guard. Therefore the actual models can be switched from squad to squad (ie 2 innfernus 1 plasma and 2 angelus)...

I would like to know your thoughts on this list on how fun you think it would be... How fluffy it is.... Will it make for some good games.... etc

Not the most effective list unofrtunately, too bad you cant fit in a SR or two, it'd really help with AT.


The Fist on the Priests is a mistake, it will simply be challenged out and killed, there goes your FNP unless you do the smart thing which is decline, and then you don't strike with the fist anyway.

I'd drop one squad and two Priests to fit in two SRs, Assault Cannon/Multimelta.

In a very friendly environment it will be fun, against a skilled opponent or decent list with won't perform very well, gone are the days where you could DS the entire army T2-3. Having to start half your army on the board hurts.

Deep striking the whole army wasn't even that good in 5th. I made sport of massacring other BA players who tried that. That little clause where you can't assault after deep strike really killed it.

Ya this army's probably going to get murdered the second it runs into a tank... might be ok versus a horde, but it's really lacking on model count. I'd get rid of Sanguinor and pick up another squad of Sanguinary Guard or 3 Predators.

Yeah I suppose it will have a tough time against low ap....

However it will be fun to play.....?

I am looking for a cool low count army like the SG... is there any others which you would suggest....? (should I start a new thread for this?)

Deathwing is the obvious one but any others?
