Hello Dakkadakka! I played all of...3 games of 40k, almost four years ago, and never had more than a thousand points (if that) with my unpainted scrap of a Black Templars army. I dropped out of the hobby for various reasons, and finally decided to get back into it and actually play now that my life has stabilized. I've picked up Eldar (I love how they seem like everything interlocks in a grand scheme, and most of their aesthetics are gorgeous!) and have a tiny, five hundred point army (very tiny, as most of those points are in a unit of Wraithguard). I went to my local store on Saturday for my first game (versus orcs, and I won, yay! (even if it was purely by luck.)) and was referred here as a new player with a lot to learn.
