getting into warmachines with a group of friends, I dont like most of the guys in the battle box so i brewed up my own list using a army organizer and the info on battle college
I'm just trying to see if i made a playable list or if i just did an awful job

I tried to balance out my love of artillery by grabbing the stormguard and charger to hold back my opponents while sloan and triumph blast away from the backlines, which seems solidnon paper, but i need some experienced players feedback please

Well, I would advise dropping Triumph for some other goodies. Replace it with a defender for the excellent combined-arms abilities. Then Grab Rheinholdt, Gobber Speculator to reload kara, giving her an extra shot. Consider replacing the Charger with the Black 13th, as the Charger is very focus-hungry, and the B13 can also help deal with stealth. This leaves you one point, so see about grabbing a Stormsmith or Gobber Tinker or something to fill up points.

Also, bear in mind that while everything in Warmachine can work, Kara is generally considered an inferior version of Seige, who can do the same things at key points, but also throws in some other stuff (Can fight in melee, Can kill hordes, Can move and ignore stealth [for 2 focus], etc.)

my main reason for playing warmachine is the models, so I would like to keep 2 warjacks in the list if possible

if I wanted to keep triumph what would be a good replacement for the charger? and what about if I changed triumph onto a defender, what would you recommend then for a second warjack?

Definitely turn Triumph to a regular defender- the 2pt savings and combined arms ability is just so much better. maybe use the 2 saved points to grab a Hunter instead of Charger (It's dedicated Anti-Jack, but is much less of a focus-hog)

Another reason to take the Hunter- on the feat turn, it's unboosted "Bonus" shot could actually cause some damage.

Something else to consider is while the Stormguard are tasty, they don't really have a lot of synergy with this 'caster. Maybe consider the Gun Mages or Black 13th? I love Sloan, but she honestly comes into her own at higher points brackets.
