Hi guys me again.

I've just had a brain fart idea for a chapter master for my sons SM 'The Wings of Pegasus '

Bellerophon riding Pegasus herself

Now I've done a quick search and found a nice WH Pegasus model I think might work but I'm struggling to source a decent ornate and mounted SM for Bellerophon himself?

Could I possibly ask for suggestions please.

I'm thinking raven guard or any other ' feathered ' chapter would look quite cool.

Why not just use a SM off one of the bike sprues and just fancy him up with GS?

I'm afraid you give me to much credit mate my gs skills would in no way be good enough.

I am not looking for anything too fancy tbh , I'm really asking do you think it's a good idea firstly, and secondly give us some more ideas then

Maybe use some of the Sanguiniary Guard models? They seem to have some really ornate armour with wings on it

No, but neither would a normal marine, I'm just thinking about the ornate armour, swords etc. You might want to get a single biker marine and steal his legs xD

I popped into my local GW today to get some inspiration for this project, and the staff suggested that I would probably need a bigger Pegasus than the one I had previously thought of.

Problem is I can't find one.

They did conclude that I would probably be better converting a horse mounted marine ........ Artharon (?) being a suggestion

As you may have noticed I've forgotten the name of the model but do know that it's a chaos marine on a rearing horse. Would any of you more knowledgable dakkadudes please point me in the right direction again with a pic if possible.

I was also shown a few wing options and am looking toward the plastic Pegasus wings funny enough ( although I think they may make the model very wide ).

That's a really nice model and would take minimal conversion IMO, even if I don't end up purchasing it I will certainly use it as inspiration.
