So I just started warmachine on Monday. I had posted before asking about circle and cryx, well I made up my mind. After reading some fluff and overlooking some things, I went with Cygnar.
I flew down to my local FLGS after work and picked up the starter box. I didn’t care for Strykers face and was looking for Ecain or Enemo but they didn’t have any in stock. So my deal is I’m stuck with Stryker I’ve did some research and he seems pretty good for an out of the box caster. But I cannot stand the Johnny Test/ Baby Goku look on the model, has any one see and good conversions for a head swap on him? I cannot seem to find any, I was thinking about swapping an eldar head or IG even a blood angle head (All of which would not have a helmet, maybe the eldar one). I just can’t stand the head it bothers me so much! I do not want to create warmachine heresy by doing so either and get the stick of shame shoved at me every time I whoop him out either!

Mod it. If anyone gives you gak about it then they arent worth your time. Be creative and post photos. Just be careful about weapon modifications as on many models, that is the only way to distinguish them apart from a completely different model. Basically, you just have to be able to glance at the model and be able to tell what it is. I dont think anyone would mix stryker up with anything else though. Eldar head might look kind of odd. I wanna see him with a Necron head!

Just remember that PP stuff is 30mm, so some of the smaller 28mm stuff, including possibly the eldar head, might look a little small (and you don't want your caster to be a pin-head do you ). A bald space marine Sargent head or an Guardsman head would probably be decent enough. If you know a fantasy bretonnian or empire player, some of the knight heads might make a decent helmeted Stryker too.

Ahh Bretonnian helms......Hmmmm good idea. Im just going to mod the head everything else i love, just can not get past the head. Maybe if his hair wasnt Super sayian and wearing WW1 fighter plane goggels id be ok. I have some BA heads with hair i might slap on. I WILL post pics once im done!

A head swap as you describe is also 100% within PPs own conversion rules.

Head swap completed!!! Used an eldar head with no helment. It looks pretty dam cool! I shave the neck a little and gave hime a hair cut on the left side. Sits flush and now he is looking towards the left (where the arm carrying the gun is) hair flows with the direction of the cap, sculpt took on a whole new life. Ill post pics tomorrow, Thanks everyone!

I put bandanas across the faces on all of my Cygnar models.

Kinda give the the bandito look, i was thinking of something like that. Was going to do a DarkAngel robed head but they are way to big lol. The eldar head looks like it came that way.

He might look good with a Storm Knight head.

I just painted him up with the eldar head. It looks good but now that i have an extra storm knight head im going to ty it out.
