Testors doesn't exist in the UK? Their glosscoat rattlecans (and their dullcote rattlecans) are excellent.

I go to Wilkinsons and use their own brand gloss varnish - about £6 for a big can. Very happy with it, but 2 things to note - 1, it acts a a slight solvent while drying, so if you touch the wet mini, you can mess up the paintjob underneath, and 2 - you really want to let it dry at least 24 hours before matte varnighing it.

No Ebay for the Wilko one I use, but I believe this is a similar product others have used:

I'd be tempted to test this stuff too as it's cheap:

What ever you do test it first on a spare model OR piece of sprue you have painted with your colors.

Working with spray varnishes can be tricky, and getting the right distance, painting motion and dealing with temp and humidity takes a bit of testing.

There have been hundreds of horror stories of people ruining models because of this learning curve.
(most often they "frost" their models - do a search on it, there are tons of posts).

However, do a few tests until you get the results you like ,and this will work out fine.

Best of luck!
