Does quantum shield work against melee attacks? Or does it only work against shooting attacks? Also where would the definite answer be?

Melee attacks hit the rear armor.
Quantum Shielding does not cover the rear armor.

1+1=2.

If QS worked on the back, it would work on melee.
Since melee hits are usually on the back you use the AV11.

The Triarch Stalker is a walker with QS, so that one gets hit in the front and you count it as AV13.

Except against walkers, and the triarch stalker has QS....

Yes it works in close combat, assuming you get hit on a facing covered by QS
