At the time of previous sm releases, have there been any notable limited releases and if so do you think we'll see any this time round? If so do you have any theories?

Nothing actually tied to a major Codex or wave release. The limited figures that do turn up tend to be for special events (Games Day, for instance) and it just so happens that about half of those wind up being Marines of some flavour.
