I've been using Green Stuff to strip my stuff for a little while now. It does great work on metal mini's, but it seems to fall short on plastics, and in particular, with enamel paint. I leave it in for about a week, but it still doesn't work like it does on the metal stuff.
Is there anything out there that's better for stripping plastic models? Automatically Appended Next Post: Meant "Simple Green"

Super Clean is much better than Simple Green. However, it is much harsher to your skin so you have to wear rubber gloves when handling it.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better. |

Yeah, chances are Simple Green isn't going to do very well on anything anymore. There was a thread last month I ran across that was talking about the manufacturer changing the main ingredient in the solution, thus reducing its effectiveness as a stripper.
Read frozenwastes post, LA's Totally awesome is great. Purple Power is good too (Same process).

Simple Green actually works just fine still, provided you are using it in an ultrasonic cleaner and the heated setting.

LA's Totally Awesome is my go-to stripping agent. Great results on plastic, resin and metal. 24 hour soak will strip just about anything with no adverse effects on the model.
Wear gloves as this stuff will dry out and peel your skin.
It's super cheap, too. $5 will buy you a large jug which is plenty to strip an army of any model amount.
LATA is proven on minwax sealer as (or the Army Painter Quickshade, same stuff).

For the Lion and Terra!
Because nothing in the galaxy is black and white, Mankind views the Space Marines as a last resort. The last line. When all else fails. They take up the burden. The noble defenders of Mankind. The last hope.

I jumped the boat over to purple power.
Iv used green in the past (love the smell) but purple is stronger and faster.
Iv also tried yellow (LA awesome) its ok but it loses potency quickly.
I should try super clean one of these days.

I stripped a plastic space wolf about 3 weeks ago with dettol, worked an absolute treat. Let it rest for about 18 hrs, fully submerged. Returned with gloves and brush and scrubbed the whole model, only using dettol to clean it, never add water ever until you want to rinse it completely at the end. I will definitely use this method again

Dawn Power Dissolver is Fairy Power Spray in the US, and everyone who's tried it in the UK that I know of loves it. It's quick, you don't have to immerse, just spray the models and leave somewhere for a while to sit, and it doesn't stink and won't do anything horrible to you. You can also wash it off with water, unlike Dettol.
For those using Dettol, please remember, you must not use water until the minis are clean. Use the Dettol to brush the minis, don't take them out and rinse them in water because then the paint will turn into a cludgy gluey mess.
