Stealthy Grot Snipa

Hey guys,

Basically got my first airbrush (H&S evo. silver 2in1) and this is the first model I have attempted with it.
What I did was: Applied the grey vallejo primer, followed by preshading in black, I then tried yellow directly over the top however I didnt like the results. So I then applied a layer of orange over the ctre of the panels followed by another layer of preshading. Which you can see below. I then put yellow over that again, focssing on the centre of the panels.

Now I am happy with the way it turned out, but I found that the yellow when sprayed over the black created a very sluggish greeny grey that I wasn't so happy about. I would advice about perhaps how to take it from here? I was thinking:
  • Wash with nuln oil or sepia?
  • perhaps some extra yellow to brighten the centres
  • Weathering to the edges?

  • I am confidant with how I want to do the skin etc... Just no idea where to take the panels next.

Sorry for the sloppy post, in a rush to go out
