Hey guys, so I'm starting my ravenguard army, and I've got all of my materials ready to paint, but I've forgotten something important. I remember a while ago when I first got interested in ravenguard and I read up on a bunch of their lore after google searching them. I read somewhere about why they paint parts of their armour white (something to do with failing the emporer I think?), and which parts get painted white. For the life of me I can't remember any of that info, and when I look into lexicanum and the 40k wikia (Where I think I saw it), I can't find any answers.

TLDR Which parts of a Raven Guard marine are painted white? (and why if you know)

Could any awesomely knowledgable people help me out?

Lets try to not make more chaos gods, ok guys?
I'd call this thread a trainwreck, but trainwrecks are legitimately horrifying to watch. This is hilarious.

Thank you so much!
It was definitely the picture in the first link that I had read.
Now that I realize that the picture is from someone's deviantart, and may or may not be based on actual fluff, I'm a bit skeptical of it.
Do other people do it that way?
I was thinking of doing it so that normal squad leaders just had the right gauntlet in white, then the same thing for all "veteran" troops except that they all have white heads, and finally white heads and white arms for the HQs a la Shrike.

And again thanks, you're awesome.
