Subject: Can Army painter paints be used without spray?

hey guys, I went to my FLGS, and unfortunately they had no citadel paints, so I got some army painter instead, unfortunately upon getting home I find that they're not on the equivalent chart, and apparently they're meant to use through a spray gun.
My question is will these work with a brush?
I bought three colors, chainmail armor(which I can hopefully use to highlight leadbelcher), Ultramarine blue to paint a librarian, and uniform grey to do some grey cloth on cultists, any help is appreciated!

I don't know where you are getting the information that they are "designed to be used in an airbrush" because they certainly are not "airbrush-ready" paints. They are meant to compliment the Army Painter colored primers and are relatively close to the the previous line of GW paints, though with far fewer colors. They will work fine.
Just for future reference, even "airbrush ready" acrylic paints (Vallejo Model Air, Badger Minitaire, etc.) all work fine with a regular brush, they are just thinner than normal, which can be a good thing most of the time.

Ah I see, about the colored primers now, but why is it not on the paint conversion chart?

Because no one put it up on there
When the paint conversion chart was "made" army painter paints were barely a thing.

Well, I'm just wondering if these colors will work as I need them.
I want ultramarine blue to paint a librarian.
I want chainmail steel to do detailing on metal as you would with runefang steel over leadbelcher
I want uniform grey to do highlighting on ravenwing bikers, as well as using it to do grey cloth for cultists.
Will these colors be appropriate? I'm not looking for exact matches I just don't want things to look weird.

Ultramarine Blue (Ultramarine blue is a shade of Blue, GW just markets theirs a Ultramarines Blue): Chainmail Steel (I'd do this in 2 parts) Lowest layer - Plate Mail Metal: Followed by a Nuln Oil Wash and then... Highest Layer - Shining Silver: Uniform grey? yes that will work.

Army painter paints are fine to be used like citadel or vallejo paints.

Wouldn't this be considered the lowest lair in the army painter range as far as metals go?
Gun Metal
What I thought, was that the gun metal of army painter would be an equivalent of leadbelcher, and the plate mail metal would be equivalent of runefang steel, so I could use it to do some highlighting.

Gun Metal is roughly equivalent to the old Boltgun Metal, which was the darkest of the old GW grey metallics. If you want it darker (and I often do), just go 1:1 or 2:1 with black.
