Been toying around with the new Codex and this seems to be what I am currently settled on for my local tourneys. Have yet to play with it so it is mostly theorycraft. Idea is to put the Farseer and Warlock on bikes with the 6 man bike squad. They stay around midfield casting Guide/Prescience on whoever needs it and Warlock attempts to Conceal them while dishing out a few shots to whatever is in range. This is also supposed to be a somewhat hard to kill unit with 3+ cover, 3+ armor, 4++ saves to not give up STL. Should mostly be able to stay out of assaults with how fast they are. Wraithknight pops a few shots on its way in to harass their backfield. Spiritseer casts whatever maledictions it gets and stays with the wraithguard where needed. They are mostly there to waste MEQ and Termies while being a tough to kill scoring unit for mid or their backfield. Serpents with guardians are fairly flexible depending on matchup and are good AA as well as infantry killers. Tried to keep a balance of AA, Horde, MEQ and AV13+ with flexible units like the Fire Prisms, Serpents and Wraithknight. Not sure if the Spiritseer is worth it to make the Wraithguard scoring as well as throwing around random maledictions. Please leave any feedback that could be helpful. Thank you very much.

I like it. It seems like a list that i might not play against just because of its competitiveness. Lol, Good Luck -Feasible

I would:

170: Farseer w/ jetbike, spirit stone of anath'lan and mantle of the laughing god
122: 6 Windriders w/ shuriken cannon
122: 6 Windriders w/ shuriken cannon
61: 3 Windriders w/ shuriken cannon
235: 10 Guardians + Wave serpent w/ scatter laser, shuriken cannon and holofields
235: 10 Guardians + Wave serpent w/ scatter laser, shuriken cannon and holofields
355: 5 Wraithguard w/ D-scythes + Wave serpent w/ scatter laser, shuriken cannon and holofields
190: 10 Warp Spiders
140: Fire Prism w/ holo-fields
140: Fire Prism w/ holo-fields
240: Wraithknight

= 2000

Just my take, hope I helped!

Austin, Texas.

Why is spirit sear 79 points?

Is 70 if I remember correctly.

I do drugs.
Mostly Plastic Crack, but I do dabble in Cardboard Cocaine.

Sorry was typing late at night and put 79 instead of 70. Thanks for the feedback.

I would consider making this Iyanden that way you'll give up slay the warlord less and can take battle focus on the Wraithguard if needed.

Otherwise looks pretty solid but not sure what you'd need to guide though? The Guardians won't be available to cast on in the Serpents and nearly everything else is twin linked already or only 1-2 shots. Perhaps a Laughingtarch would be a better HQ?

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com

Why fire prisms? If you have them, go ahead, but don't buy them just for this list. I haven't found them to be worth their points.

Wraithknights are usually best taken in pairs and without upgrades.

I think you have sacrificed too much firepower for the sake of resiliency.

If you are most focussing on Guide/Prescience, then I'd highly suggest taking the Farseer, Mantle, Jetbike. This avoids having to use a fast moving scoring unit to absorb hits for him. If you are facing a lot of cover ignoring units, he is easier to hide as a single model as well.

Not sure I'd take 2 Fire Prisms. I've played a single one in a couple of games and it's been pretty lackluster. YMMV, however.

Good luck.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.
